Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and National Healthcare Insurance Benefits ("NHIB," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using this website or any service made available through it (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the Services. Additional terms may apply when you choose to communicate with a licensed professional, insurer, agency, or other third party.

Eligibility and permitted use

The Services are intended for adults located in the United States. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement to use features that request information or connect you with insurance-related services.

You may use the Services only for lawful, personal, and informational purposes. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you choose to provide and for maintaining the security of your devices and communications.

NHIB's role

NHIB is not an insurance carrier and does not issue, underwrite, bind, amend, or guarantee any insurance policy. NHIB is not affiliated with or endorsed by any employer, hospital, union, or government program.

Website content is general information. It is not legal, tax, medical, investment, fiduciary, or individualized insurance advice. You should evaluate your own circumstances and consult appropriately licensed professionals before making decisions.

Estimates and insurance information

Any benefit amount, price, rate, savings, scenario, or estimate shown through the Services is illustrative only. It is not a quote, application, offer, promise, recommendation, or contract of insurance.

• Actual availability, premiums, benefits, terms, exclusions, and eligibility vary.
• Coverage is subject to a completed application, carrier underwriting, state availability, and an issuing carrier's policy terms.
• No coverage is effective unless and until confirmed in writing by an authorized issuing carrier.
• Information may change and may not reflect every product or carrier available in your state.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services. Prohibited conduct includes:

• violating a law, regulation, third-party right, or these Terms;
• providing false information or impersonating another person or organization;
• attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data;
• introducing malware or interfering with security, availability, or normal operation;
• scraping, harvesting, copying, or using automated means except as permitted by law and our published directives;
• using the Services to send unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or unsolicited communications; or
• reverse engineering or exploiting the Services in a way that harms NHIB, users, or third parties.

Third-party services and links

The Services may link to or help you communicate with licensed professionals, carriers, agencies, regulators, or other third parties. Their services, websites, applications, privacy practices, terms, licenses, products, and representations are their responsibility.

A link, introduction, or reference does not by itself mean NHIB endorses or guarantees a third party. Review the third party's terms and privacy notices before providing information or entering into a transaction.

Intellectual property

The Services—including text, layout, graphics, branding, databases, software, and original content—are owned by or licensed to NHIB and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, NHIB grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to access the Services for personal, noncommercial use.

No license is granted to use NHIB names, marks, branding, or content beyond what is necessary for ordinary use of the Services.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." NHIB disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, noninfringement, accuracy, availability, and security.

NHIB does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, current, or free from harmful components. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NHIB and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, opportunities, goodwill, or data; or decisions made in reliance on the Services.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law. These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NHIB and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.

Changes and termination

We may update the Services or these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will identify a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law. Continued use after an update becomes effective means you accept the revised Terms.

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the Services, users, third parties, or legal compliance. Sections that by their nature should survive will remain in effect after termination.

Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable United States law, without overriding any nonwaivable consumer protection available to you. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally may be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms requires you to waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
